Semcor Equipment Corp. runs a contract concrete cutting division
that operates as Engineered Concrete Removal. We have
been a Northeast regional leader in this specialized industry
since 1960. E.C.R. has been called on by many contractors
such as, Frontier Kemper/Silverite, Turner Construction, Railroad
Construction and many more to complete there most complex
concrete cutting needs. From the Statue of Liberty to the
Holland Tunnel, E.C.R. has completed both large and small
projects consistently to the satisfaction of our customers.
A lot of people cut concrete... but too many of these people
are only marginally proficient. When you use Engineered Concrete
Removal, a member of CSDA (Concrete Sawing & Drilling
Association), you're using a contractor who specializes in
sawing and drilling concrete. We have 40 years of experience
and know how to do the job right. And that translates into
cost effective cutting and the best value for you.
Engineered Concrete Removal can do more than slab sawing,
hole making and wall sawing. Sometimes you may need to remove
or just cut a thick (like 6, 8, 10 feet thick or even thicker)
concrete piece. When you do, you'll want to consider diamond
wire sawing.
You may have pavement that does not drain rapidly enough or
pavement that is just plain slippery. If so, you will want
to consider grooving or texturing that pavement.
You may have pavement that is rough... out-of-profile rough.
It could have been poured and finished improperly... it could
be faulted... it could be warped. If you have any of these
problems, you will want to consider diamond grinding.
